Items marked Christian Greiner & Sohne, Rauenstein, Thuringen, Germany 1894-1929. Antique dessert service in very good condition. Magnificent pair of antique plates made in Germany c 1820-1860. by Rauenstien and made of high quality Finlay porcelain, hand painted in underglaze cobalt blue and has narrow flutes inside with a smooth edge and center, the design is called a straw flower and resembles that of a Meissen blue onion, both are approximately 200 years store old, and are in amazing condition, which indicates quality and strength of porcelain, as well as charging plates only 22 cm wide.
