The spoon has 9 circles representing the 9 worlds or realms of Norse mythology. The sun wheel knot is an ancient Indo-European symbol representing the cycles of the seasons and sun. Needless to say this spoon has a lot of ancient symbolism built in.
This is made from Cherry wood grown in Utah. Hand carved by me with no power tools whatsoever.
