I discovered the original hooded, paddling shirt by Patagonia and wanted to customize first, the size, and then, the style. The floral sleeves came from a pair of workout pants and the pink accents from a Ralph Lauren shirt that had a strong surf shop style logo. They come together to create a garment that gives me a strong sense of the islands and surf culture. It goes without saying that wearing this will turn heads as it is a bold statement and I believe it challenges what people expect store to see at, on or in the water.
