Looking down staircase, store Hotel Martinez, Cannes, France

I attended a travel conference in Cannes, France, in 1989. We stayed in the Hotel Martinez, down the street from the film festival pavilion. Many famous movie stars and others associated with film had stayed in the rooms we were store in, no doubt. The Carlton Hotel was the grandest of them all, but the Martinez was very fancy, too. I stood on the top floor and shot this photo looking downward towards the lobby.
