Vintage Japanese store wood carving Mejia style hand carved hard wood collectible figures art object sculpture

Vintage made in Japan Mejia period style carved wooden art object features two figures that are surrounded by stylized pine trees that sits on a hand carved stand. Measures 6.5"l x 1.75"w x 3"h. The only condition issues is a small crack in the wood on the back and a missing piece of wood, see photos.
