Antique French Wooden Printing Block, Hand Carved Printing Stamp store for Textile, Flower Pattern

This antique, French wooden printing block will make a very original, decorative ornament.... standing in a bookshelf or hung on a wall.

Sourced in France, this antique printing stamp has been hand carved in wood and was most likely used to print textile. On one side it has the number 5718 painted in black store and white, this probably the reference of the pattern (see photo). Inside one of the flowers also has an other reference, 10 1/2 (se photos).

Sold in its antique condition. The printing block has a wonderful patina.
