Store Red Paua Abalone Seashell Fountain Pen

This high quality Rhodium platted fountain pen is made from some of the best materials available. Paua Abalone, found in New Zealand, is one of the most colorful seashell in the world. They have the most vibrant natural colors, from what one would call "mother of pearl", to Reds, Blues, Greens and Purples. The pen blanks that are made from these shells are actually thin strips of the shell that are then glued to the metal tube, usually store brass, which is the core of most handcrafted pens. The tube that is now covered with the shell is cast in a clear acrylic, which is then turned on a lathe to the desired size and shape.
