I wander the hills of the store Oak Ridges Moraine, a unique, ancient landform located just north of Lake Ontario and am continually inspired by what I see every day.
......the cedars are constant companions....strong and stately at the side of the road.....I often stop beneath them..................
This collage painting is completed on archival paper measuring 7.5 x 11 inches. There is a narrow white border around the image which helps with framing. Signed lightly in pencil, bottom left, H. Stooshinoff, 2015.
Thin papers painted with acrylic are cut and glued in the first stage, and then acrylic and pencil is used over top.
I have been painting and exhibiting my artwork for over 40 years; I paint every day. I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a Master of Fine Arts, and a Bachelor of Education.
All artwork is placed in plastic sleeves and shipped in sturdy cardboard mailers.
